The new Range Rover Evoque features a world first – Ground View Technology which effectively makes the bonnet invisible.
The system uses forward facing cameras in each door mirror and on the front grille to create a virtual 180-degree view of the road ahead. Not only will this be a huge help in challenging off-road environments, but it will also make life easier when negotiating tight city streets and cramped car parks.
The technology won an the innovation award at the Autocar Awards 2019 – ” it’s a piece of technology that managed to catch our attention even in this era of rapidly changing and increasingly astounding automotive technological achievements.”
In addition the new Evoque also features ClearSight Rear View Mirror, a high-definition video screen that revolutionises rear-view mirror visibility from the driver’s seat.
