Our Team Improvement Circle (TIC) UK Convention celebrated each of the Circle’s positive team effort, combined success and TIC journey of problem solving and personal development so our business continually improves for the future.
TIC is now in its third year having been rolled out across the UK, China and India, then later this year will reach Brazil. This year alone, over 480 Circles made up of over 2,000 colleagues from across our global regions successfully completed a TIC theme highlighting the ‘can-do’ attitude of our people to make a positive difference to their local areas.
Grant McPherson, Executive Director of Manufacturing hosted the event and said: “The standard of teams this year has been unbelievable and simply overwhelming. They are incredible! I started my career by getting involved with engagement programmes like TIC and it was a springboard for my problem solving, presentation, leadership and communication skills.”
He went on to add: “Our people are our future and I wish to thank and congratulate those who have put themselves out there through TIC to not only develop themselves but to ensure we continuously improve ourselves as a business.”
